I am doing my first muledeer this week or should I say fisrt second and third. I was wondering how much difference is there in whitetail to mule deer and should I get a video I'm kinda nervous about getting them right. any help would be greatly appreciated.

The bridge of the nose on a mulie is wider and more ridged, and the ears are bigger, but to me, they taste the same, leaning towards the sage buck tasting better. Someone will have a list of all the differences, but for you're first couple of mulie's, go ahead and do them and you will see little difference between the two.
Before you spend your hard earned money, it may be well worth your time to type "differences in mule deer" into the search. That may be enough for you to complete the task at hand comfortably. Good Luck! Jeff F.
No difference really in mounting. Mule deer eyes finish is a bit darker is all. Don't sweat it. Get reference pictures.
