Mold and Cast

You can rebuild brow tines with apoxie sculpt if you are very talented and you have lots of time. The way I prefer to rebuild them is to mold and cast. If the rack you are working with has a good brow tine on one side, mold it with RTV. When you make your cast, put a stiff wire in the casting to attach. When you are ready to install your new brow tine, simply grind the broken one down flush with the main beam, drill a hole for the wire and attach using 5 min apoxie. You will need to blend the transition with some apoxie sculpt. Then, all you have to do is pain/stain to match.

thanks
