Hello,
I read an archived post about using forms for making hangers and another person mentioned doing it with formaldayde. I see the forms for sale online and am now curiuos what the process entails to get the finished product. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

i have made quit a number of deer foot racks for friends of mine, they are somewhat time eating if you are going to do a bunch of them.
i believe Van Dykes now sells freeze dryed hoofs, have not ordered any personaly but could only assume it would save a lot of time. ( by the way i tan my hoofs just as i do my capes and such. in quanitys)
They can be time consuming but the skin is tough in that area and the sewing is fast and if you have an insert its even easier. The only hard part is taking the bone out of the hooves...thats a bit timely but once you get a method down and you know your way around...its simple. The only thing with an insert is, theres a bit of a gap from the inside back of the hoof to the front (curved end) of the insert so youll have to mix up a bit of plaster or something to fill it up with and make sure that dries in shape. But definately tan the hooves in quanities if you have enough...hope that helps a bit
