I see there are a lot of reproduction antlers for sale. I have a question. The Hanson Buck is being showed at the big trade shows by Joe Kelly and sons from South Carolina. He says Milo Hanson Gave him the right to show the buck. He has a lifesize mount and claims the only shoulder mount of this buck. I did some checking and found he bought the reproduction mounts from Buck Forage who supposedly got the right to make reproductions from Milo. He attends shows and gets free booth space/accomodations etc for displaying the buck. He sells hundreds of dollars worth of pictures of the buck. How does this really work? Do you buy the right when you buy the reproductions or do you have to get special permission to display and seek revenue for exposition purposes? Joe also displays the largest southern whitetail collection at trade shows. How many deer would be concidered a large collection?
