Does anyone have a good picture of an aggressive deer's ear or know where I might find one. I KNOW I have some in all my reference pictures, but today is full of senior moments and I can't find one that gives me the frontal look I need to finish a mount.

The easiest reference I know of for this pose is to take some buttless Eppeley earliners, drill through the end of the tube and insert a hunk of wire, then cut out a form so the ear could seat into the form as usual. Then shove the wire into the foam accurately, but allow the ear to just drop. Thats basically the pose, as the neck stops it from going too low, angle-wise, and the attachment keeps the point of reference accurate.
If you have an old Joe Meder reference picture group, I know he had a head-on pic in there. Also, John Ozoga/Daniel Cox Whitetail book has does in this posture, and Lenny Rue and his deer bible also has the pics of that 7 point posturing and sidling, with that ear pose.
I'd winged it already, but that info and a picture Tom Des sent me worked to prove that once in awhile even a blind pig finds an acorn. Thanx for the prompt help.
Who you calling a pi...an acorn?!?
