Hello,
I was skinning a little buck and cut it on the backend of the eye right behind where the lid lip is about 1/4 inch back on the back corner. Thank god I did not cut the eyelid. how would be the best way to fix this since there is no hair there the skin is brown and thin?

Not a problem

For a cut behind the eye where there is no hair you have several options for fixing. I would fix it in the mounting process, after I had the eye work done and the skin positioned correctly around the eye, I would use Buckeye hidepaste and close up the cut as much as possible and the glue will hold it together. Super glue would also work here. You could pin both sides of the cut, but remove the pins the next day and smooth over the holes. After the skin dries you may need to use a small amount,(keep it to a minimum) of Apoxie sculpt to smooth over any seam. I am sure others have answered this question here before and you'll find answers if you use the orange search button. Good luck.

Thanks Mike
