Custom Antler Mounts !

Leather and Felt look good on antler mounts but I've started doing most of mine a little different, and thought you guys could try it to (if you don't already). I've been using camoflauge, blaze orange, snow camo(colors we hunt with) and even american flag material. I've even added leaves and moss to some of them. My customers love them and I hope yours will to. Good Luck !

That's a good idea. I've got three of them coming in tomorrow and I'll have to give them the option. If they can make Realtree thong panties and sell 'em, I think a custom antler mount isn't too over the top.

Unless your customer ask you to do that I don't think he/she would be happy about it. I sometimes use antler stain on my mounts to brighten them up but never change the color of them.

A pretty cool idea with the cammo and such . I have done them by mounting the shell casing or broadhead that took the deer on the plaque , and did one that looks great using the shell casing and a photo . I aslo have one of my own that I had no cover plate material on hand so I used a beer can . That one draws attention more than my others . Bradlee

I really don't think that people would want their antlers ruined. I hope they asked you to do that! somtimes a shell casing, or broadhead mounted on the plaque is okay but come on..

I have seen some pretty neat antlers painted with red, white, and blue in a waving flag pattern and they really cought your eye. The set I saw was done with bleach-white flaky sheds, primed with several coats of spray primer, then hand painted. They were selling for about $250 for a small 8 pointer.
