I have been useing McKenzie tan for some time now,the directions say to let penitrate 4 to 5 hours then rise out in water.Any way I wandered going longer than 4 to 5 hours could be better ,worse, ect?.Next I have no tumbler & wandered when rinsing should I use only water or along with a mild soap to clean hair?
and last sometimes when the mount is dry the eyes & nose pad seem very dry, would it be a good idea to rub more tan oil on these aeras?
Thanks!

I go overnight, but in the refrigerator. When I put the tan on I try to be careful not to get too much on the hair. I then fold the cape skin to skin and roll up. I talked with the McKenzie people about the washing and they say you don't need to. Just wipe out the excess tan from the skin when done and mount as is. When I'm done mounting the head I clean any slight areas that have tan/oil on them with rag and warm water. The stuff comes off easy and no soap is needed. It's nice not having to re-wet the cape.
