I got a deer in from Canada, it is huge. The customer ruin the original cape and brought me a cape from the same hunting party, and claimed it is exact size of the original cape except around the antler burrs. The antlers measure 6 inches around the base and the cape is only 4 1/2. How can I make it work? Or can't you? Thanks for any advice.

cut away what you dont need
You don't understand I don't have enough skin to go around the antler burr.
trim a slice from each antler opening on the cape. Start with about an eigth of an inch, test fit, and trim more if needed. Use a good sharp scalpel and don't cut the hair.
the problem is you have too much skin, therefore your hole is too small. Cut away skin and your hole is bigger. What you are short of is hole, not skin
