Zap a Gap ?

I've had a few problems with antler burrs as they dry. Will Zap-a-Gap bond with the damp hide and hold it in place for drying ? Thanks for your time.

Gorilla Glue. Workes great. It will foam up a little, just works with as it dries. Which isnt to fast.

I was told once...

to catch the front part of the hide that goes around the antler burr as my first stitch instead of just pulling the points together, and i have done that ever since, even though i may not need to anymore, because i think my skull caps were a little high back then when i was still learning.

Stay away.....

from Gorilla glue in taxidermy. It swells and makes an awful mess that is very hard to make right. There are so many better products on the market that invovle less baby sitting with better results. Very temperature sensitive also. My .02 from experiance! Epo-Grip really does work wonders. Jeff F.
