I just got a catalog from Research Mannikins. I've never used any of there stuff but they have some neat looking forms (especially the one they call "Checking His Backtrail"). Just wandering if anyone has used there stuff and what they thought of it. Thanks for your time.

I've been using Research Mannikins for over 20 years. I'm in the PNW and they have the largest selection of blacktail anywhere. There quality and customer service is great. Give Mark a call and he'll take care of you.
..in their First Honest WT Deer line. I am especially fond of the "Not quite 90 degree" mannikin, of which I mounted a buck and a button buck on with nice results. I also have a browsing deer from their line to do yet. I also like the earliners that they sell. They are nice and thin and fit with very little trouble. The deer from around here fit nicely on their mannikins.

They ship their stuff quickly after you order. So far I've never had a problem with them.
I started using them about a year ago because they were close to home and I was able to get my product quickly, but after using their forms it wouldn't matter if they were back east I'd still buy from them. Their customer service is excellent.
I've used a couple of these forms but the last one didn't look quite the same as other competitors eyes. Do these eye sockets need some work pryor to setting the glass eye? Most everyone else advertises positive set eyes. Research doesn't. Or did I miss something?
