Neck Slipping

i've got a shoulder mount and there is a dime size spot where the hair sliped out. I used McKenzie tan. I guess the tan didn't penetrate in that spot. Its the only spot on the whole deer. Is it possible to epoxy hair back in and make it look natural.

cut a small football out of it and either stich it or use hide nails to close it. it may not be the tan you could have gotten a little deep with your fleshing. quick fix should be no problem . good luck

I mounted it 3 weeks ago. Sewing is out of the question.

The voice of experiance says ... Use clear RTV silicone and glue matching hair in the spot. If it doesn't look right at first, pull it and try it again. Works like a charm. BTW, are you sure that spot wasn't just shaved to thin causing a slip spot? Either way, Git-R-Done! Peace- Jeff F.
