removing cartlidige

Thanks for the advice on when to turn the ears. I have another question. Do you go ahead and remove the cartlidige at the time you turn the ears or after the pickle?

Its best to remove it after the tanning process

I remove all before i tan, i do all my own tanning,If you send them out for tanning than i would leave in.
