Whats the maxium time deer cape can set in krowtann?

I need to know the maxium amount of time you can leave a deer hide in the krowtann solution?I have never used the krowtann so i was looking for some info from current users.I think the directions say 3-4 days but i was wondering if you could leave it in longer,like maybe a week?Any help is welcome.Thanks jerry

i use it all the time.

your hide's,cape's ,will soak up the maximum tanning agent's in 3to4
day's then you can nutrilize and mount.

but beleve it or not you can leave them in ther for a year!

i did it with 2 fawn

I am a beginner and used Krowtann last year. Since I do my work on the weekends this will allow me to keep my cape in Krowtann until ready to mount to keep from having to freeze and thaw capes. Does anyone else have any info?

I dont know why someone would send someone to a company for information about another companies products.As for the question the 3 to 4 days is the minn. amount of time a hide should be left in the tann. You can leave them in longer but you need to make sure to keep the container covered to keep out anything that could neutralize the tann. We dont recomend leaving them in for extended times(months or years)but a few extra days to a week is ok.And you can always call us with any questions about Krowtann and the other products WE MAKE at Ozark Woods.
