1st Flehmen Mount

Hi Guys,
Just a quick question about the flehmen mount. I see a lot of suppliers are selling the products associated with the flehmen mount. My question is this (for those who have mounted a few) What supplier is the best for this mount and how is the best way to get a decent mount without ever actually mounting one myself? I've seen the video for sale a few times but don't know which one to get. With so many suppliers and very little time to get this done I would like to have the best products and the best video to learn the process.
Thanks for your time guys,
Lance!

You can use a semi sneak head up form from McKenzie or Joe Coombs. If you want a perfect fit with the flehmen nose piece get the Joe Meder head up form and the Joe Meder flehmen nose piece from McKenzie. McKenzie also sells an excellent video tape by Joe Meder that takes you through the whole process. It makes an impressive mount.

Nose size

I've worked with the Meder flehmen mouthpeice many times before and found it to be pretty good to work with, although a little pricy. It also is too big for most forms. I'd suggest ording it a size smaller than the measurements in the catlogs suggest. I offer the Meder nose as an option to my customers, but at an extra price to cover the high cost of the product. I also offer a standard flehmen mount at a lower cost, but the positions are very limited. I have examples of both in my shop for cusomters to look at so they can make an educated decision.

meders is great! works well with any form not just meders, comes with instuctions but a little vague in my opinion, buy meders tape its well worth the money, it will also show you the right eye set to use when the deer is its flehming state, along with correct finishing procedure
