I'll be opening my doors this fall for customers, and thought I'd get some ideas for a name for my shop. I have a few ideas and I'm even letting the kids at my nieces school pick some names and I figured I'd let you all in on it to. I would also like to thank all of you for helping me so much, I would not be doing this without you guys. Thank You All Very Much! P.S. I live along the Ohio River in the southern part of the state, and My first thought was "Southern Ohio Taxidermy" but I'm still not sold on it. I'll let you know how it ends up.

The word Ohio....

is derived from the Iroqoian translation meaning "great river". I therefore would suggest Great River Wildlife Artistry. Kinda got a nice ring to it huh? Peace- Jeff F. P.S. GO BLUE!

I was raised in that area and man what some good deer hunting! in fact my brother lives in athens county and I try to hunt with him every year! I reside in South Carolina now, but whatever you decide post it and next time I'm in the area ,mite just drop in and say hey!

(your name) Taxidermy. Its all about name recognition, baby! I know, if your name is Miller, Yoder, or Hostetler and you live in Ohio, its a bit tougher (Ohio joke...others may not get it!)but you cant beat having your own name, as people tend to remember that better. Just my opinion.

Tough Choice

I knew you guys would come up with some great ideas, but now it's gonna be really hard to choose a name. There all great name's but the two that caught my eye were "Great River Wildlife Artistry" & "Lazy River Wildlife Studio". By the way Jeff, what's this GO BLUE stuff, it could cost you the name game (just kidding). Keep em comin, it's not over yet!

Consider Yourself lucky I took the time to research something that had to do with the buckeye state!(LOL) I disagree with Yoxy about the recognition state of things. I think your business name should reflect your ability to show intellect as much as your work and ethics reflect. And BTW, Did I say GO BLUE! Jeff F.

I know I live in the Buckeye State, but I have always been a Kentucky fan. I also used to watch the "Fab 5" on a regular basis. I know you remember those times. I started playing basketball when Rex Chapman was at Kentucky, and I've been a fan every since. I try to play now, but my knees can't take it anymore, so most of my downtime is spent in a treestand or in my shop (much more relaxing anyway) P.S. My wife said that was a great name for a business, so your in the lead. Thanks!
