i have a couple of ? about tree bark. i boil my skull plates and that turns the bark black, what's the best way to clean plates if your going to leave bark on? will there be any kind of bug problem in the bark over time? thanks doug

that far....wrap the bases with saran wrapand only submerge the skull plate as far as the crowns...simmer slowly..
