white ears?

I am just finnishing my 7th deer mount & normally I need to lightly paint the inner ears.Any way this time they dryied a soft off white & look good to me but I wandered if that would be exceptable as this mount will probably be used when I take my taxidermy exam?

YOu can also add a touch of artist oil paints

to the earliner adhesive and it will show thru.


A little trick for you!

Take some pink chalk and lightly srape some into your adhesive until you're satisfied with the coloration. This will work well if you're using ear liners. Good Luck! Jeff F.


a little bit of red paint

You could add a just a tad of red paint to the adhesive too. Just enough to get a desired pigment intensity. It'll look pinker when dried.
