finishing the inner ear canal on a competition deer

the ears turned out beautiful and the fleshy color has good depth. However, the transition between the inner canal and skin can be seen if you look closely. I look in the archives and no info on that subject is listed. Would you try and blend with apoxie or leave it clean. The transition is very clean but still can be seen. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

If you're competing with it you want a clean smooth transition everywhere. I'm pretty sure if you leave it alone you'll lose points, so I would rebuild (smooth out the transition) and color.
