After reading some of the postings on this site, I have noticed green, salting and tanning. I did my first mount this last weekend and all I did was flesh, salt and borax the hide before mounting. Does anyone think this will be problem. I bought a video and went by that, they did not tan the hide. I looked at the mount last night and everything still looks fine, no pulling away. I did add some small pins to the chin and eyes.

If your going to use DP you dont need to salt. Flesh,wash,flesh again and then use the DP
