Since last summer, all my free time has been spent on my neighbors farm (150 acres) hunting, scouting, filming, using trail cameras. The last couple years the deer population on the farm has really increased due to added corn and bean fields. I walked out of my shop one day and about 100 yds from my back door I saw the biggest buck I had seen here making a scrape on the edge of the cut corn field. As luck would have it, I killed the buck 3 days later in the bean field after watching him chase does for 2 hours. My best bow kill ever (7 points-18" spread-8" G 2's). Now the bad news. On feb 12th while shed hunting I found a small left side with 3 points (I saw this deer almost every day) and I found a left side with 6 scorable points, 10" G 2's 5" bases, a 10" brow tine and real heavy mass all the way out. Get this, I found the big shed 5 yards from where the 7 point was standing when I shot him. I guess he was just rubbing it in. P.S. the 7 point is now sneeking through my shop in his pedestal base and I could'nt be more proud. I love this stuff. Thanks for listening!
