I have noticed on a couple of my hides around the brisket and on the neck where hair has fallen out before I even touch them just the top layer leaving white colored hair. I was at one of my buddies who is a taxidermist to today and I noticed one of his mounts that was the same way but really bad so I asked him what was causing that and he said ticks burrow in and remove hair anyone else heard of this? And is thier any way to darken hair where white is ?
