Looking for some input on going to N.C. I have been doing deer mounts for 3 yrs. and am interested in small mamamal taxidermy as well as improving on my deer. Would it be worth my time & money to attend or should I settle for working from videos. My deer work is very good for commercial but I want to start experimenting with specialty poses. I do not know much about the format of the Piedmont Course and I know there is not but so much you can pick up by sitting in classes for 3 days versus hands on work. If I were to go, any advice on how to make the best use of the three days for deer & small mammals?

It's like watching videos except you can ask questions and get clarification. They have top name people like Don Stevens,Gene Smith, Dan Rinehart, the McKenzie Crew, etc. All for $60. You can video the classes if you want.
