I have wt that has a med. to dark gray nose. Need suggestion on paint.

what color was the nose while the animal was alive or right after being dispatched? soon after death the color of the nose will start fading, check your reference to see what the colors are of a live deer.
customer is suppose to be bringing me pictures of the deer right after the kill. this deer is really gray almost silver he is a different sort. gorgous animal. Not yet ready to paint just trying to get an ideal in my head on how im gong to approach it.
I get a deer in every once in a while with those really gray noses.
Lightly mist the nose pad with any white color, next lightly cover with flesh or mohr flesh , The more flesh has a purplish cast and that's my preference.
then the black should be painted lightly on each of the nodules, I then thin down the black to make it a bit transparent and lightly tone the nose pad to the desired Gray color. Use the pictures for reference.
And only paint light coats..until your needs are met.
