i use earliners with magic smooth as an adhesive, i was never taught to clean the ear first with anything? should i? i take the cartilage out. i dont think ive had drumming problems.

I Peel off Cartilage and wipe ears down with a rag "I use an old sock"with some lacquer thinner or acetone on it. Same goes for the earliner itself. Or you could sand the earliner. But if you haven't had problems with drumming why change your method. Don't fix that which is not broken! Ernie Kuhn
