I am entering my first competition march 18th, I installed my first set of Brad Eppley nictating membranes this past weekend. the angle looks right, put the plastic is not tight to the eye.
can i slip some superglue between the eye and membrane to make it stick? if not, what should i do?

I would not use the plastic nictitating membranes. I rebuild with black sculpting epoxy. Use some good reference and use the epoxy it looks better anyhow. I also rebuild my commercial work instead of the boughten ones.

the plastic ones always appear to be just that plastic, fake
You need to first trim the membrane, then seat it in epoxy sculpt or similar, and once you have the correct angle and angle against the eye surface, you coat it with a clear membrane. THEN it looks real!
