There'll be LOTS of lady taxidermists at the World Show along with a multitude of wives who are the backbone of the industry. They may not BE taxidermists, but they sure are the glue that keeps the taxidermist in business. You won't feel out of place at all.

So, if you are serious about being nice to us girls, how will we find you? Also... what about your wives? I have had a few get mad cause I was asking their husbands about taxidermy stuff. I can't get the wives to understand that I am ONLY interested in learning more about taxidermy. Sometimes it just sucks being a woman in a "mans job"!
At this level of competition, I doubt you'll find much of that as long as it's a professional conversation.Just carry a spray bottle of cold water and you can always cool them off if they seem to get distracted. LMAO.

Where have you been all my life? LOL My wife can't stand taxidermy and dead things! Too bad, Deer blankets sure are soft. That is cool, I respect a woman who likes this feild of career. It probably does make for a better relationship when two people have more things in common. Keep up the work!
The men that I talk to are as professional as anyone could ask, it's the wife that always seems to get upset. I hate to say it, but they are the reason more women in my situation aren't going to shows..
Of course my earlier post was a bit tongue in cheek. Ive talked to hundreds of taxidermists over the years who are men, and never attacked one, nor were their wives jealous. So Im pretty sure the reverse will be true, too. Hahaha.
