preserve velvet on whitetail racks

How would a fellow go about preserving whitetail racks that are in velvet? I seen a couple in a bowhunting magazine that were mounted in velvet, how do they keep the velvet on the rack?

go to hidetanning.net and click on skull cleaning you will find your answer there.

Artificial Velvet

You can also have artificial velvet put on any antlers at Research Mannikins.
