My next mount will be an open-mouth Mule deer. I am familiar with the paint schedule of an open-mount Whitetail, but what are the differences with the colors on a mulie in open-mouth. Thanks!

I used the same four colors I use on all my gameheads. Start light and move to your dark colors. On my mule deer I used less flesh after the white. I then used very little burnt umber and a touch more ivory black than I would use on a whitetail. I'm not sure that helps you, but it's all in how you are blending them. The less paint the better. Remember you are just trying to get the natural color to come out and not have it look painted. Take Joey and good luck.
