Hanging my Shoulder Mount

What is the safest way to hang a Deer Shoulder mount to the wall? Does is need to be set in a stud?

The Noose Hanger is the way that I go on every form that comes without a hanger pre-installed. You can buy them at virtually all the big suppliers for under $1.00 apiece. They break apart to make two hangers for use on smaller animals, or leave them together for the bigger ones. Find the balance point on your form, use a spade bit and drill out a hole and then put on the Noose and put in four screws. Voila!

Yes you should find a stud to hang your deer, it is allways the safest. You can also use a drywall anchor but it needs to be at least 4 inches and takes about a 1/2" hole to use one. Joe
