I saw an elk mount in a shop in Nisswa MN that resembled an old european shield maybe eight or ten inches long and almost as wide. It was mounted on a standard crest shapped piece of wood. the shield could have been a poured composit of fiberglass but was painted to look like old metal. I have a pair of elk antlers I would like to mount in this shield type thing. Do you know where I would find such a mount?
