Obviously not as there are reams of information there on this subject. Click it and then type in "choosing a fleshing machine" or just "fleshing machine". I hope it's on your day off, however, as you're going to be reading a long while.
I purchased it 2years ago because it was solid machine and it tuned at slower rpm than other machines, being knew to a table model it worked out good (cut less holes). Some day I'll put on a different pully to increase rpms, but for now I'am very happy with it.
Check out the Edwards portable.
Is the best bar none.
Only the best!
Still using it and still working mighty fine for me. (BARNONE)
oh AND WAIT i DIDNT EVEN SPEND OVER A 125$
You have to consider the number of capes you will process when choosing a fleshing machine. I only mount 20 or so deer heads a year and therefore can't justify a big expensive flesher. I use a Feshall Mini-Flesher and am very happy with my results and my choice. I have not had any problems with the machine yet. I have probably fleshed over a hundred deer with it along with some other odds and ends and have not even had to replace the blade yet. If I were going to mount say 50 or more deer a year though, then I'd look at getting a bigger machine. If I were only doing a few deer a year I'd just use knifes to do all my fleshing.
p.s. If you choose a mini-flesher, make sure you have an air compressor with at least 5 hp.
