Ive checked the archive and can't seem to find the answer to this simple question. When setting whitetail deer eyes should the tapered end of the eye be toward the nose or toward the back? Thanks in advance.

Double A, If you are referring to the high part of the eye verses the low part, the deer's eye is higher in the front- that is the dome of the eye sets out more in the front than in the rear. Enjoy, Aaron H.

If you are using the TruEyes. The straighter colored edge goes towards the front.

Could you be talking about forward looking eyes?

If so, the steeper side goes in front.
