Here we are in September, and I still have two grey eyed fawns, but the others are dark eyed now, and growing their brown coat under the spotted hair pattern. The faces are cast out as well as the legs. Id say the wild fawns are ahead of this, as hand raised seem to run a bit behind. A herd from my herd produced another hazel eyed fawn again this year, and was sold, still with light eyes. Hopefully these blue eye posts have helped a few of you who were asking me...
