Loose antler

Just starting to do the finish work on a deer I mounted a couple of weeks ago and noticed that one of the antlers came loose. The skull plate had been removed from the deer before it was brought into the shop so I used one of the shed connectors to put it back together. I have used them before and have never had one come loose. My question is how to tighten that antler up without disassembling the mount and starting over. Thanks

Can you get a needle in the joint and inject a 2-part epoxy, or master's blend?
What I do when I use the shed connectors, I've done 4 of them, After I assemble the sheds on the connector, I place the antler in a soft vice burr side up, tape a dam around the burrs and fill with two part epoxy so the hardware on the connecter is encased with epoxy. When it kicks off, I mount it on the form, dam around the base of the connector, and encase with bondo, then clay over the bondo. I know that it is extra work, but the sheds are rock solid and no worries of them coming loose. You may want to open the top of that deer and start over. Or just tell the customer that they are adjustable so he can get a bigger spread. :-)

thanks for the idea

I've got her bondoed pretty tight so it suprised me when it came loose. I'll give the epoxy a shot and see what happens. Hopefully it holds. Thanks Todd
