I recently ordered a Meder 500 upright form in 7 1/4 X 20 and noticed that the mouth line only mesured 2 3/4 from the tip of the nose to the corner of the mouth which seems short for the above measurements. I then looked at a McKenzie form in the same measurements in an upright style and it measured 3 3/8 nose to corner of the mouth. Also the form had a lip from the mold process where the on side sat 1/8 higher on one side. I know there could be some variation and some work is almost always required but? Are these things the norm for Meder forms? I have delt mostly with the McKenzie's and Waco forms for the last three years.

about that...I love Meder forms and will use them before all others. But thats just me.
That's just how he interprets the mouth. Nothing wrong with it. it takes some getting used to though.
