Can you use this paste over clay or should a dextrine based hide paste be used?

dextrin drys slower, but so will the buckeye because the clay is wet also. The clay will keep the buckeye moist till they both dry together. I use buckeye on the whole mount. I was taught to use epoxy around the face, and that was great, but if I ever wanted to re-do a face, to late. So buckeye top to bottom for me. You can use any paste over clay that you want. It will all dry soon or latter.
I too use Buckeye for the whole mount, including over the clay around the eyes, nose and ducts. It is great stuff.
