a mouse ate the hide off a deer mount, right under the nostril, and into the nostril. what is the best way to repair this?

IT IS ABOUT 2 OR 3 YEARS OLD, I THINK, LOOKS IN GREAT SHAPE

Last year I mounted a buck that had a portion of the nose and side of his muzzle shot off and I repaired it with a spare cape. If you don't have a spare deer season is coming soon.
