mounted on a couple of these and the eye sockets dont appear to be correct to me - is this my imagination - have used mostly McKenzie in the past

which mannikin?

They have mannikins from several artists. Call them and inquire about that particular mannikin, whether the eyes are pre-set or not.

I too have noticed the eyes seem off on these, rest of the form is great though. I also am used to McKenzie and coombs,etc. When I set my eyes in these and use ref pics, the eyes look to be right, but with the research forms they look like goofy eyes.

I always drill the eyes out of the foam 1/2 inch deep no matter what form its on then u always have the correct anatomy.

ompared the research to two other mannikens i have - one of them was McKenzie - research eyes are screwed up big time - cant and pitch are both opposite McKenzie - changed the rm to McKenzie pitch and it came out fine - its easier to just order McKenzie to start iwth - i wish i would learn

I drill all of my eyes too. All deer are different, it you give your self some space to work and get good with clay they come out real nice.
