follow-up on old tanned cape...lanolin tan

Thanks for the info on the previous old tanned cape post....George suggested that it might be a lanolin liquid oozing out of it....I suspect he is right...if so, the white hair has been turned yellow by it....can I get this out with something?

If it is Lanolin - then you need a degreaser specifically designed for Lanolin. And it should rinse away easily. We carry a Lanolin Degreaser for Sheepskins called Wool Degreaser (WD-608) that should do a great job on it - even if it turns out not to be Lanolin. I suggest trying it. It's on our website at: hhyp://Rittelsupplies.net
