After preparing a deer skull for a European mount, should I put some type of finish on the skull? I had one deer professionally done and it appears to have a shiny finish.

You can spray it with clear spray paint or brush on a clear laquer...I leave mine unfinished and they are fine on my walls.
Most of us in Germany use clear coat out of the can to keep the dust off it. gives it a bit of shine,after bleaching. *Not too much or it might turn a bit yellow .
