i just got a customer/friend that just got back from an Illinois trip. Well he scored in a big way, 187" gross- 179" net 16 scorable points on a mainframe 10! The measurements are 7 1/2" eye to nose 19" base of neck, and 24" 4" down. Well my problem is I usually deal with McKenzie or Joe Coombs, but I cannot find the exact measurement, the closest I can find is 7 1/2" x 19" x 21". I dont want to give him a deer back smaller in the neck than what it was originally. The pose he wants is an upright with a slight turn to the left. I was also wondering if I can call the manufacturer and see if they do custom sizes? Well thanks in advance guys and gals.

Where did the "4" down" come from?

That measurement is usually listed as 3 inches down. I stay away from that and McKenzie has an assortment that makes it really easy to fit the bruisers like this. Drop back you E-N measurement and find one that's 19 or 19 1/2 right under the chin. Then find the FULL SWELL form and order it. It will fit and the deer will look good. In my opinion, those extra measurements are pure BS to begin with unless you're sculpting the form. The chin measurement is the one that never changes on the deer and that's the only one you must be concerned with. After that, the hide will fit.
