I received in a whitetail this week from Iowa. The neck measured 24" but the face was swolled up, what a brute. My problem is getting a mannequin with a puffy face to accomodate this size of deer. The buck looked like some ones face after getting the crap beaten out of them. The eyes and lips were all puffed up, I have never seen anything like this. Anyone out there know of a mannequin that will fit this puffy faced buck? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

if they hung the buck up by the hind legs...all the fluid will naturally go to the lowest spot which would be the head. This may explain the puffiness in the face.
Bobbi dosn't know poop as well as I do, but I'd bet he's right about this !
and then measure it. if you need to add you may just have to build up the form with some clay or apoxie work. i'm guessing that the above suggestion is probably right though.
