how to make deer skin into a throw

i shot a doe on 11-20-05 and after quatering it i skinned the fur coat, i would like to give it to my son as a throw for his bed, but don't know how to do it? any suggestions would be great. thank you

Take it to a taxidermist with your deposit.....the taxidermist can send it off to a tannery for you....then you can give it to your son

sheds hair

I have a mule deer throw and it is great only the hairs are stiff and delicate and often break off leaving hair all over the place. Should be alright as long as it is not heavely used though
