Looking for ideas in what to use for a adhesive in the ears. I have been getting my ears pulling away from the liners as it dries. Any thoughts on this let me know Thanks.

the cartalidge liner adhesive from McKenzie, the grey stuff, takes a couple of hours to set.
Apoxie Paste from Aves. a little on the thicker side and easy to color
either is a great paste but wont work unless your earliners dont fit or are not sanded. the mold release will prevent either from adhering to the earliner.
It's easy enough to get a good fit. pull your earliner in one hole piece. start at the base and out to the tip. Then simply trace the cart. onto the earliner and cut it to size. Perfect fit everytime. Takes a little getting used to but the results are worth the little extra time.
There's only one and it's epoxy. Epo-Grip set the standard with the Liquid Fast Set or the Clear Paste. Only epoxy holds plastic to skin and anything else is just a far second place. Good epoxy dissolves mold release but you should still wash them in lacquer thinner to be sure. Nothing else is required as long as they fit.
I agree with George Epo-Grip is the best adhesive that I have ever used with ear liners . Used to have drumming problems at times but never with Epo-Grip
and youll never use earliners again (speaking form experience) - if you must use earliners Epo-Grip is the best i found BB (b4 bondo)
NOT! Did the bondo, won't ever go back. Well, I do use it for hog ears. The cartalidge liner adhesive from McKenzie works great on the face also, no pins at all.
ive even found a way to put the veins in when needed
happy thanksgiving guys

hide paste. I rub my liners down good with Liquid Sandpaper, scuff em up a bit with a wire brush while the plastic is soft, let em dry, then apply the Buckeye Supreme hide paste to the liners and slip em in. Granted I ain't fast enough to use some of the Epoxies cause I like to tinker with em while they dry and the Epoxy sets to fast for slow little old me.
when u pull the ears do you let the cartlidge in or do you take it out? I keep it in and i thought maybe that was the reason for the drumming, and the pulling away problem i have.
you are using liners you MUST take the cartlige out. Only leave it in for the bondo or ear magic methods.

Or did they fall by mistake?
Just another thought seeing how you didn't say what liners you are using or your mounting process.
I made the mistake of putting Eppley ear liners in laquer thinner because everyone said you need to put ear liners in laquer thinner. Don't do that with those liners. Doesn't matter what kind of adhesive you use, it will pull away.
Either of the products i mentioned will work well with the method i described. I tried the Epo-Grip stuff and it worked fine. Just more cost effective to use the others i mentioned.
However i forgot to mention that I do not use the Apoxie Paste or Cartilage Liner Adhesive on the backs of the earliners. I use Derma Grip for that, the original formula.
