I got a nice deer in velvet given to me to do for my shop(this will be the first velvet ever done) my question is what is the easiest way to preserve these? should i go the freeze dried technique? and if so can anyone recommend a good place/person I am in new england.
Is this something that can be done by me by either using the preservz-it or antler in velvet tan, McKenzie offers both techniques, how would you guys/girls rate each technique or which would you recommend using by doing it yourself. thank you for your help.

Done all the others and if the velvet is in the growing stages, you get shrinkage no matter what dipped and injected method you use. If they are "hard horned" underneath, then you may as well dip them since the freeze drying isn't going to help much anyway.
