I have heard all kinds of things that customers do, but last night I got mine. This guy brings me a nice 135 inch 200 plus lbs. deer head. Nice trophy in these parts of La. Anyway he has it in an ice chest covered in ice and some ice water (not in a plastic bag either). This thing was soaked in ice water. I was out of Stop Rot, so I caped it out, tumbled it dry and froze it. Guy had no idea that this was bad for it.

Hey Paul, I use stop rot all the time , just this one caught me without any. I will have to defrost and apply as soon as I get some more. Jeff, I am located in Evangelin Parish. I have done a piece on a radio progam and an article in the news paper, trying to educate folks on proper field care and prep., guess they don't think about it until after they kill something.
