Split Ears Correction

Submitted by Darrell on 12/6/05 at 3:31 PM. ( )

I was not clear earlier in what I was trying to say. The ears on this cape are split in the seam from when they were turned and powdered. The splits or seperations are about 1/4" long. I noticed it when I was soaking the cape. How can I fix and with what? Thank you for your earlier response

If the tear is only 1/4" long just use zap-a-gap super glue, otherwise use really fine fireline.

sew it up

fire line, as in fishing line, or fine sewing thread from the Mrs. sewing box, and a fine needle, make small stitches and keep the hair out of the seam.
