Customer had a can of expanding insulating foam explode.Quite a bit of It got on his 3 year old shoulder mount. What might take this stuff off without doing any damage to the mount or sell him a new cape

I'd let foam up and harden, the big bubbles should snap right off, just do it with the hair grain/pattern. Then I'd take your rasping brush that you use to rough up your forms and start combing it with the hair grain...
To let him have it in the house(not in the garage) away from freezing cans of expanding foam. lol it shouldnt be too hard to clean off, the stuff gets pretty brittle when dried.
I use acetone to clean up expanding foam, not on mounts though. I dissolves the foam to nothing. Spot test first to be safe. Good luck
