I have received 2 elk from a customer who want them to be made into european mounts. I have done alot of whitetails but I do not have a pan large enough to simmer the elk skulls. Does anyone have an idea where I can get a pan large enough to do this?

brian, I use a 55 gallon drum that has been cut off at about a third off the way up approx. 20 gallon container. I bought it at a farm supply store I think I paid $15.00 for it, I also use a burner that is used for cooking turkeys in hot oil I think that was $60.00 it runs on propane other than that do it the same as whitetail, good luck, DeLoy.
....by a friend of mine who is works with metal. 1/4" thick and just wide enough and deep enough. It is a rectangular box shape. I made it long enough to boil two skulls at a time but if I had to do it all over again I would make it long enough for only one at a time.
1/8" thick
Thanks for the help.
